Man, I’m not from NH but some friends from there turned me on to your substack. What I see in your publications is very important in recouping representation. I live in Louisiana. We are going through similar things on a state level, so I’m sympathetic in the call to be active at the state level.

I pray that God’s will be done in your state. That’s all we can hope for, and please do not slow down on helping people understand the importance of topics that affect your state and why it matters to the nation. I’ve been feeling a need to help distinguish between coercion and consent.

The government got good at coercing people to obey; people to give up; people to comply. In doing this, a pattern— a muscle memory —of consenting to coercion is achieved. In essence, it’s the flipping of consent, even tho it’s still feels like consent.

All this to be said, politics is impersonal. It’s “sports” to those who are watching it all the time. We are made into avatars of this wild game and nothing changes because the rules are flipped against us. Becoming a player in the game doesn’t require being a representative, it requires the mindset change from NPC to player and USING the representation we put in place along side us. This mindset change hinges on how personal it is to the average person and guides what we consent and do not consent to.

In recognizing the personal nature of the politics that affect us, we can make a change and it rightly ought to be made in the local and state levels first. MSM keeps the focus on the “kingdom” while our homes are on fire and then they tell us “everything will be alright if you put them in place.”

The adage, “if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself” comes to mind.

There must be a “common sense” moment that shifts peoples minds to morality, to integrity, to motivation, and to direction and I do believe people are getting close. Keep up the good fight.
