Gonna leave it there anyway since it's a fitting example either way.

100% agreed. Its actually quite scary. ps. keep up the good work and continue to 'live not by lies'. We could do with a Solzhenitsyn now.

I have said that Biden was the #1 most divisive president we have ever had. I truly believe it.

As for Truth Social being taken out of the play store, the social site is still available online through their website. So mobile users should still be able to get it in the browser.

But Truth Social should follow Minds' example. They have an app in the store but, I think, it doesn't show comments. There may be some other slight changes. But you can download the real app from their website and when you do it it will let you know when it needs updating. So, unless you have technical problems, you should only have to download it from the site once. I am still so surprised less people use or even know about Minds. There just doesn't seem to be the same publicity that Gab gets even though it's pretty much the same freedom to speak on both.

I can just about guarantee that if any of the alternative sites ever threaten them they will shutter them. Whether it's done by the private side, or the public side, that's where we're at now. No workaround exists so long as they aren't under threat by some entity genuinely capable of ending them.

The people who actually threaten them would be either voters (if elections are generally fair), people who would actually want to physically overthrow the government (this is probably their focus and the least likely to happen), or people who are working to remove power from the federal government through secessions or having a convention of states.

I really tend to think they're focused on scaring people away from trying to physically overthrow the government, which wouldn't work anyway. But they are also focused on trying to "fortify" (through whatever means necessary) the elections.

Though it looks bad right now, I have faith that they won't get what they want. I'm not sure if we'll go through voting our way out, or getting rid of the federal thumb over the states through a COS or seceding.

I don't think they're actually afraid of being overthrown. They're playing that up to justify repressive measures.

I don't tend to think a CoS has any hope of being of significant benefit, nor federal elections. I do, however, see a path forward in State nullification and interposition.
