Stunningly comprehensive curriculum -- absolutely everything is spot on except for the inclusion of a reference to "the concept of Mass Formation Psychosis". There is indeed a very good possiblity that this amalgam of Desmet/Malone unsubstantiated verbiage is ITSELF playing for the wrong side. This is merely a theory trotted out by a Freudian psychologist, and then slightly mangled by an MD Pharma researcher. The problem is that this utterly unscientific theory promotes the idea that evil leadership need not be held to account as the Hitlers, etc. of the world are merely the manifestation of popular will. A very convenient undocumented, unscientific theory for the progenitors of evil. Please see Dr. Peter Breggin's critique of Desmet's baseless theory. There is no such thing as "mass psychosis" (technically, scientifically) no matter how conveniently this verbiage provides simplistic color wash to describe various historical phenomena and cultural movements. In the context of studying communism / Socialism / marxism this flashy-but-hollow theory actually serves the interest of totalitarians. If it is not an Info Op it certainly serves the same purpose -- and has no scientific nor rigorous social science documentation to support it.
