Remoralization
The process of demoralization has affected the subversion of each one of us down to our very psyche. We’ve had a false world imposed on us mentally, and now we cannot see the real one as it truly exists. Marcuse’ lunatic dream of stifling conservative ideas at the level of thought has been achieved through the application of “aufheben” (German for “cancel”) to the culture, and the establishment of taboos backed by the implicit threat of violence – first mob violence, and now state violence.
There exists a whole host of religious fundamentalists beliefs that one must uphold to participate in polite society: “trans men are men,” “children know what’s best,” etc. The statement of faith, “believe science,” has taken the modern conceptualization of science as a process of inquiry and discovery and reverted it to the prophetic metaphysics of yesteryear – all while still presuming that “Science” can lead us to truth. Many now argue that this process cannot be undone – that it spells the end of our Republic. This was the belief of Yuri Bezmenov when discussing the ComIntern (Communist International) program of ideological subversion and demoralization of the west. I am, however, less certain.
First know that people will not like my strategy because my strategy is medicinal, and people don’t like to take their medicine. They prefer to feed their diabetes sweet things and empty calories. This intransigent gluttony is why we lose our legs out from under us. Biblical purification is often visualized through the aesthetic of a purifying fire. Indeed. I can personally attest to the scars that remain from burning away the false.
Once your worldview is shaken by dissonance and you have chosen the red pill and rabbit hole you must be prepared for the time ahead. It is not without considerable discomfort that we destabilize ourselves in order to rebuild our foundations on rock. Alas, we must first have a revolution of the heart before we can affect a revolution in the real, and of culture. It is worth undertaking this in my estimation. I will also remind you that the result of our collective failure to do so will quite literally be too much to bear. We are not one of us prepared for what is coming if we fail.
The fundamental question now is why we are unable to see things as they really are, and how we fix ourselves so that we might be able to live in the real once more. Forgive me if you thought I was going to pull out some magical alchemy of my own here to fix all our ailments. The actual solution is far simpler than that, and alchemy can never achieve anything real. If it is true that we come to believe the things that we say, and that we write, and I believe we do, then remoralization is simply the process of speaking truth, writing truth, and believing it. To this end I would encourage you to, quite literally, stand in front of a mirror and speak these prohibited truths aloud.
It will be uncomfortable. You have been trained that pain will follow as these unutterable things leave your lips. It is worth every bit of it and more. As you speak check your posture, your projection, and your eye contact with yourself. Stand tall, hold your shoulders back, and permit yourself to tell yourself the truth without a single ounce of trepidation. Keep doing it until it becomes natural. Likewise, take a notepad, a pen, and write it down. Do it several times, then several times more. Repeat this process with each new forbidden truth that you uncover. Repeat this process until the pseudoreality melts away, you see things as they truly are, and you rediscover your moral capacity to get mad about being lied to.
This anger becomes something you cannot help but to feel when confronted with a demand to conform to the pseudoreal. This anger enacted in the world becomes the aesthetic by which others begin to question their own false ideological prison. It begins to polarize the lies and shift the Overton window. Once the Overton window comes to exclude the pseudoreal item the process becomes a cascading, negative feedback mechanism by which culture begins to self-correct. This is how we win.
I must note a few important caveats here. First, to those who take umbrage with the idea of righteous anger I say suck it up, buttercup. These times aren’t for the faint of heart – lead, follow, or get out of the way. Simultaneously, the distinction between righteous anger, and just plain anger is paramount. We are in perilous territory here from which intentions are easy to twist up. Negative emotions can be very addictive, and the danger in telling oneself they are righteous when they are really doing evil is real: this is precisely what the Statists (leftists, Marxists, Communists, Fascists, whatever) are doing. Righteous anger always comes from a place of goodness: it is the moral in us recoiling upon the imposition of evil. Righteous anger reflects reality as informed by reason.
I know this may sound odd to some. Anger can be good? Confrontation can be good? Yes, yes they can be. So can violence be good, though that isn’t a topic for this piece. Perhaps that’s your first mirror assignment, “righteous anger is good and virtuous.” It is good and virtuous to hate what God hates, and love what God loves. Our moral foundations come from God. These pseudoreal lies come from the other guy.

I like this, and my only regret is that it took Instapundit a full week to stumble across it and link to it. The world is in a bad shape, and as the meme says, it's going to get way worse. But there is hope. Remoralization is possible. It has happened to me, and by the grace of God, may it happen to a million more.
I am still hopeful that violence won't be necessary, and we can revive what Reverend, MLK Jr. impelled. I'm also hopeful that the remoralization has already begun. Maybe it's just me and what I've been consumed with but, It seems like a lot of people have been red-pilled, moved from left to right, and have also found or are seeking God/meaning. Do you find a lot of converts? So glad you're running! We need more of you in every state IMO.
